The Diploma of Associate Engineering in Computer Information Technology (CIT) is a three-year post-secondary program offered by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE). The program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the IT industry.

(CIT) is “the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware”. CIT deals with the use of electronics computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit and securely retrieve information. When computer and communications technologies are combined, the result is CIT or “infotech”. CIT is a general term describes any technology that helps to produce. manipulate, store, communicate, and/or disseminate information. D.A.E in CIT is the first step towards IT career it is a blend of theoretical exposure of the field in the classes & practical demonstration, implementation of non-going system in the interactive Lab sessions.
